Position Overview
The Materials Program Manager plays a critical role in driving supply chain excellence and operational efficiency across the organization. This position serves as a strategic link between manufacturing, market dynamics, and business requirements, ensuring seamless alignment across all stages of product development and production. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with a strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally, manage complex programs, and deliver innovative solutions that optimize cost, quality, and materials availability.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Risk Management
  • Translates manufacturing, market dynamics, and business requirements into actionable strategies and tactics related to bills of materials risk assessment/mitigation, inventory health/optimization, streamlined supply chain management, and total cost to business

New Product Introduction (NPI) & High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM)
  • Coordinates and monitors the acquisition of materials in support of NPI programs/projects and ramp readiness for seamless transition to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM)

Supplier Management
  • Works closely with suppliers to execute contractual requirements and discuss performance, cost opportunities, and future operational strategies
  • Manages suppliers to achieve on-time delivery and cycle time performance, resolution of material escalations, BOM cost benchmarking/optimization, Engineering Change Order (ECO) change closure, new site startup, and liability settlements

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborates closely with cross-functional staff across project/program management, engineering, supply chain, commodity professionals/purchasing, and manufacturing teams to:
  • Define customer demand and early raw materials requirements
  • Influence supplier and component selections
  • Drive planning and procurement activities at both product and cross-product platform levels

Materials & Quality Assurance
  • Ensures bills of materials integrity, materials availability, cost, and quality goals are set and successfully achieved
  • Ensures tight linkages to each business unit's production requirements to enable output maximization while balancing cost and inventory control

Stakeholder Communication & Program Monitoring
  • Provides assessments and status updates to stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Establishes contingency and gap closure plans
  • Closely monitors program indicators to proactively identify and address risks

Data Analysis & Process Improvement
  • Analyzes data to develop and design solutions for complex processes
  • Participates in the development and improvement of systems and tools to drive efficiencies across the organization
  • Works with cross-organizational teams to drive forward-looking supply chain solutions

Qualifications:
This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or BS degree in supply chain, business or associated field with 2+ years of relevant industry experience or 6+ years of equivalent industry experience in place of a BS degree, per business needs.
  • 2+ years in business intelligence tools, data modeling, and transformation.
  • 2+ years in managing complex supplier relationships and drive operational strategies.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with AI and advanced analytics for problem-solving and process optimization.
  • Proven ability to execute disciplined processes and deliver measurable results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adept at stakeholder management and fostering collaborative partnerships across diverse teams.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in advanced data analysis to drive decision-making.
