Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Project Manager to lead execution of a large-scale manufacturing ramp-up across our Ironton and Franklin Furnace sites. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end coordination of production readiness, workforce ramp, training execution, and customer delivery alignment.
This position serves as the central owner of program execution across Operations, HR, Talent Acquisition, Training, Finance, and external partners. The Program Manager ensures disciplined delivery of all headcount, training, and operational milestones required to support multiple simultaneous production line expansions and new product launches.
This role is critical to ensuring that production readiness aligns with customer demand and on-time delivery expectations.
This is an onsite position in Franklin Furnace and Ironton, OH.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Ramp Execution
  • Lead overall program management for multi-site manufacturing ramp-up initiatives
  • Own execution tracking for 21+ headcount and crew readiness milestones across 8 production lines
  • Maintain integrated master schedule covering hiring, training, onboarding, and production readiness
  • Ensure alignment between workforce ramp plans and production demand requirements

Customer Delivery Coordination
  • Partner with Operations and Commercial teams to support customer-facing delivery commitments
  • Ensure production readiness aligns with external customer expectations and launch timelines
  • Monitor and escalate risks impacting on-time product delivery
  • Support seamless execution of new product introductions and ramped production output

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Drive alignment across Operations, HR, Talent Acquisition, Training, Finance, and external staffing partners
  • Lead weekly ramp governance meetings and executive status reporting
  • Establish accountability for deliverables across all functional workstreams
  • Ensure clear escalation paths for risks, delays, and execution barriers

Training & Readiness Alignment
  • Coordinate training capacity planning with Training leadership
  • Ensure certification and onboarding capacity supports ramp timelines
  • Identify and escalate training bottlenecks impacting production readiness

Risk & Issue Management
  • Proactively identify execution risks across training, operations, and customer delivery
  • Maintain risk tracking and mitigation plans
  • Drive rapid escalation and resolution of cross-functional issues impacting readiness or delivery

Reporting & Governance
  • Provide weekly executive-level updates on ramp status, risks, and mitigation actions
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all tracking systems

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • 5-10+ years of experience in program management, operations leadership, or manufacturing execution
  • Experience managing complex, multi-site operational initiatives or ramp-ups
  • Experience tracking manufacturing projects, and communicating progress updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively write technical reports and project proposals.
  • Ability to be company spokesperson for key programs.
  • Co-ordination and procurement of outsourced vendors
  • Liaising and organizing sub-contractors working in both our factory and on site
  • Responsible for document control on client and Vertiv platforms
  • Deal with supply chain and assist in ordering of materials and equipment
  • Attend client production, commissioning, and schedule meetings
  • Ability to influence without direct authority across multiple functions

Preferred Qualifications
  • Manufacturing ramp-up or new product introduction (NPI) experience
  • Experience in workforce planning or staffing execution environments
  • Exposure to customer delivery or production fulfillment operations
  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
  • Multi-site operational coordination experience

Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering discipline.
  • Desired PMI certification
  • Desired GBSS certification
