Job description

Essential Job Functions:

  •  Responsible for supporting assigned product lines for the complete product lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute the smart growth strategy for the assigned aircraft system/product lines in such a manner to achieve smart growth objectives for revenue growth and return on assets.  Including bid/no bid, product and process R&D, New Product Introduction and continuously improve of assigned product lines.
  • Accountable for the success of projects and programs. Must work with internal departments to hold internal and external (customer/supplier) resources accountable for supporting these efforts in such a manner to ensure successful completion.
  • Identify & monitor risks to program success, identify and execute necessary countermeasures when needed.
  • Work with other Program Manager(s) to establish consistent metrics, tools and processes including, but not limited to:
    • Adoption and improvement of a common NPI (New Product Introduction) process.
    • Program status, tracking and reporting: leading indicators of program health (OTD, PPM, Net Income)
