Overview
A hospital-based opportunity seeking an experienced Locum OBGYN to provide 24-hour in-house coverage on the Labor & Delivery floor. The role focuses on inpatient OB/GYN care, including deliveries and emergency gynecologic cases.
Practice Highlights
โ€ข Inpatient Labor & Delivery coverage only
โ€ข 24-hour in-house call required
โ€ข Services include vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and circumcisions
โ€ข 10-15 OB triages daily plus deliveries
โ€ข All OB triages are seen by the on-call physician
โ€ข EMR: Cerner
โ€ข Onsite lab and pharmacy
Candidate Requirements
โ€ข Board Certified in OBGYN - Required
โ€ข Active Illinois license OR Active IMLC LOQ - Required
โ€ข Experienced providers only
โ€ข Clean malpractice history and background - Required
โ€ข Self-Query NPDB (pulled within the last 30 days) - Required at submission
Schedule & Coverage
