Overview
The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the marketing strategy and execution for Lake Nona Wave Hotel and Aloft Orlando Lake Nona. Working closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing, this role focuses on creating, maintaining, and enhancing the brand image across traditional, digital, and social media channels.
This position plays a key role in driving awareness and revenue for guestrooms, restaurants, bars, and meetings & events, while promoting the broader Lake Nona destination. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented marketing professional with a strong eye for design and a passion for storytelling.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement property-level and market-driven marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and revenue
  • Manage and maintain an active presence across all social media platforms, including content creation and calendar execution
  • Create and distribute email marketing campaigns and newsletters targeting segmented audiences
  • Collaborate closely with Sales & Catering to develop marketing collateral and graphic design materials that support revenue generation
  • Partner with external agencies on digital marketing, PR, email, and print campaigns
  • Attend hotel events and create engaging content to promote current and future experiences
  • Support recruitment and retention marketing efforts in partnership with People Services
  • Monitor industry trends, marketing platforms, and campaign performance to ensure effectiveness
  • Identify gaps in performance and implement strategies to improve results
  • Ensure all marketing efforts are aligned with overall sales strategies and brand standards

Qualifications
  • Strong creative eye with a passion for design, branding, and storytelling
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video editing tools
  • Experience managing social media platforms and content strategies
  • Basic knowledge of digital and search marketing
  • Understanding of hotel operations and hospitality marketing preferred
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and troubleshoot effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience managing photo and video shoots is a plus
  • Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
