Hybrid 2-3 days onsite in Irvine, CA
Our client seeks a Technical Project Manager to lead an Oracle Fusion ERP implementation focused on financial and custodial accounting capabilities. The role will coordinate Finance, Accounting, IT, and a system integrator to deliver GL, AP, AR, and close functions. The manager will own planning through go-live, integrations, data migration, and governance to achieve accurate financial data flows and effective adoption.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of the Oracle Fusion implementation from planning through go-live and stabilization.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, resource plans, and status reporting.
  • Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as the key point of accountability for overall program execution.
  • Act as primary liaison across Business Applications, CAO/Accounting, IT/Engineering, and the external System Integrator.
  • Drive alignment on scope, priorities, and deliverables across stakeholders.
  • Facilitate executive-level updates and decision-making forums.
  • Partner with the System Integrator across requirements, design, configuration, build, testing (SIT, UAT), data migration, cutover, and go-live.
  • Ensure alignment with Procure-to-Pay (AP), Order-to-Cash (AR), and Record-to-Report (GL/close) processes.
  • Oversee design and delivery of integrations between Oracle Fusion and upstream/downstream systems.
  • Coordinate data migration strategy and execution, including validation and reconciliation.
  • Manage program financials including budget tracking, forecasting, vendor spend, and SI performance.
  • Establish governance for status cadence, issue and risk escalation, and change control.
  • Drive readiness for UAT, finance user training, cutover, and go-live.
  • Partner with Accounting leadership to align with operational workflows and support post-go-live stabilization.

Experience Requirements:
  • 7-10+ years of technical project or program management experience.
  • Proven experience leading Oracle ERP implementations, with Oracle Fusion preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial operations including AP, AR, General Ledger, and accounting close.
  • Experience working with Finance, Accounting, and CAO-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage system integrators and vendor partners.
  • Experience managing system integrations and data migration efforts.
  • Strong communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with custodial accounting or financial services environments (preferred).
  • Experience in large-scale ERP transformation programs (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Financials modules and architecture (preferred).
  • PMP or equivalent certification (preferred).
