Job description

Starting Pay: $17/Hour

Shift: Monday-Friday 8-5 p.m.

A Sales Coordinator acts as a liaison between prospective customers and the sales teams. This role facilitates the distribution of qualified leads to sales representatives and directs unqualified or non-sales inquiries to the appropriate departments based on the customer’s needs. This role requires a “customer-first” mindset and approach, with excellent communication skills and a passion for promoting the core values of Signature Solar.

This role may require flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate customer needs and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assess customer needs and provide appropriate guidance to the correct sales representative or department.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of our solar products, services, and solutions.
  • Conduct initial consultations with customers to understand their needs, project scope, and purchasing goals.
  • Actively engage in lead generation activities, including participating in events, promotions, and networking opportunities.
  • Provide post-sale follow-up and assist in addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
  • Complete sales-related tasks, lead tracking, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide regular reports regarding lead status, pipeline updates, and sales activities.
  • All other duties assigned

Required Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of solar energy systems and their value to customers.
  • Familiarity with systems utilized by Signature Solar including CRM platforms, marketing tools, B2B portals, and communication software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a sales team.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of successful customer engagement and relationship building.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or customer-facing roles is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in solar energy or related fields is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting 25+ lbs, computer work and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
