Position Title: MDU Growth Specialist
Department: Consumer Sales
Reports To: MDU Sales Manager
FLSA Status: Non- exempt/hourly, Full-time, Benefited

LOCATION: East Bay, CA
Position Summary:
In this role, you will work within the consumer field organization responsible for driving sales by securing new fiber orders from apartment, condo and multi-dwelling units within Sonic's fiber footprint. These new orders enable Sonic to market and grow strategic consumer services in these communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new fiber internet customers with tenants of apartment, condo and multi-dwelling units within their assigned territory, to increase the MDU overall Sonic take rate, in our fiber footprint.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time (40 hours per week), non-exempt position
Travel: Travel is expected for this position. A valid California Driver's License and Clean DMV is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Meet Monthly sales performance expectations and Drive Take Rate at Full Building Installs to 30%
  • Complete at least 200 knocked doors and 3 new orders per day through door hangers and door knocking.
  • Coordinate onsite events with landlords and property managers.
  • Visit Full Building Installs during installation coordinating with Acquisition team.
  • Check the regular dispatch calendar for standard single-unit installations.
  • Utilize Salesforce Maps for efficient marketing routes and track doors knocked per day.
  • Leave marketing materials behind and send emails to online community groups.
  • Record and update opportunities daily in Directly and Salesforce.
  • Follow a weekly schedule with quality field activities.
  • Provide daily reports on scheduled visits and results to the Sales Manager.
  • Focus on increasing Take Rate on Acquired Buildings. Use FBI excel sheet to attack lowest take rate buildings.

Competency:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should be familiar or able to learn:
Sonic's Fiber installation process
  • Basic understanding of Sonic internal Tools
  • Understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, Salesforce a plus
  • Working knowledge of MS Suite
  • Good communicator both verbally and written
  • Must be able to multi-task and balance many priorities
  • Solid teamwork skills
