Description

Simply Solar LLC performs residential and commercial solar installations and services throughout California. Simply Solar is looking for dependable and motivated individuals to join their installation team. ย Positions are full time, hourly, non-exempt with great benefits ย (PPO medical, dental and vision with monthly employer contributions, employer matched retirement, PTO, paid holidays, educational assistance.) ย 


Job Overview
  • Role: Solar & Battery Installerย 
  • Company: Simply Solar LLC
  • Location: California (Site-based)
  • Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
  • Objective: To install residential and commercial solar PV and battery storage systems with a high degree of craftsmanship and safety.
Key Responsibilities
  • Installation: Physical assembly of racking, modules, and battery units.
  • Electrical: Basic AC/DC wiring, conduit runs, and assisting with panel connections.
  • Reporting: Utilizing company software to log daily progress and project milestones.
  • Service: Interacting professionally with clients and maintaining a clean, organized job site.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Experience: 2-4 years in solar installation (with electrical exposure).
  • Soft Skills: Strong verbal/written communication and a "customer-first" attitude.
  • Mindset: Dependable, motivated, and looking for a long-term trade to master.
  • Physical: Comfortable with heights, ladders, and outdoor labor in California weather


Knowledge of Enphase systems is a plus!



Requirements

Those who apply must:

Be authorized to work in the United States, be age 18 or older, pass a background check, maintain a regular 40 hours per week schedule, arrive on time to work each day, be willing and able to commute to job sites within southern California, regularly lift heavy objects of 50lbs+, be willing and able to climb commercial sized ladders and work on a roof top for the majority of their shift. Applicants should consider the physical demands of the job when applying.
