Lakewood Care Center is an 87-bed, Medicare certified skilled long-term care facility recognized by Nursing Home Compare as one of the best nursing homes in Minnesota based on survey results involving nursing staff, health inspections and quality measures. Mission for Position

The Long-Term Care RN will provide quality, personalized care for residents through implementing their plan of care with compassion, quality and integrity.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervising and providing leadership to frontline staff
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the unit
  • Dispense medication
  • Complete treatments
  • Communicate information regarding resident needs through written and verbal communication to appropriate staff members
  • Observe proper infection control and safety procedures
  • Respond positively to feedback (questions, suggestions, problems) from residents, guests, family members and fellow staff

Position Type

We are hiring full and part-time positions! We offer flexible scheduling to promote work/life balance. Available shifts include:

  • Offering flexible scheduling
  • Shifts are: 6:00AM-6:30PM; 2:00PM-10:30PM; 6:00AM-2:30PM; 5:45PM-6:15AM
  • Weekends - every third
  • Holidays - some

Additional compensation is available through:

  • Shift differential and additional pay for Charge Nurse responsibilities
  • Competitive shift differential (PM/NOC), shift pick-up, overtime

Qualifications

  • Current MN RN licensure
