We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Agent to purchase goods and services necessary for our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be business oriented. The candidate will need to analyze quotes from multiple venders and determine the best value.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop profitable purchasing strategies. Assess supplier profiles and analyze offers. Prepare and implement effective negotiation tactics. Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance to terms of contracts. Keep updated records.
Requirements and skills:
Proven experience as a manufacturing purchasing agent or relevant role Experience in negotiating prices, terms, and conditions.
