Bilingual Purchasing Agent

Location: Miramar, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
Position Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual Purchasing Agent to join our team in Miramar, FL. This position is responsible for supporting purchasing operations by sourcing materials, placing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products needed for manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and previous purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with domestic and international suppliers regarding pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of raw materials and supplies.
  • Track purchase orders and follow up with vendors to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
  • Obtain and compare vendor quotes to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Warehouse, Quality, and Accounting departments to support production needs.
  • Resolve supplier issues related to pricing, shortages, damaged shipments, or delayed deliveries.
  • Assist with vendor management and maintain positive supplier relationships.
  • Prepare purchasing reports and maintain data using Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Purchasing Agent, Buyer, Procurement Specialist, or Purchasing Assistant.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) required.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications
