Construction Project Manager


Alyeska Builders is a locally owned general contractor serving Interior Alaska, and we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead projects from planning through completion while delivering an exceptional experience for our clients.


Our Project Managers take ownership of client relationships, budgets, schedules, field coordination, trade partner communication, vendors, and project documentation. The goal is simple: deliver quality projects on time and on budget while keeping clients, trade partners, and our teams informed and organized.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading construction projects from planning through completion
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, including design meetings, project updates, and final walkthroughs
  • Managing project schedules, budgets, job costs, milestones, and overall performance
  • Coordinating and communicating with trade partners, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to keep projects on schedule
  • Scheduling trade partners, confirming scopes of work, and ensuring project expectations and timelines are clearly communicated
  • Coordinating material selections, purchasing, and deliveries
  • Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Providing direction and support to Project Coordinators and field crews
  • Conducting site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
  • Identifying problems early and working with clients, crews, and trade partners to develop solutions and keep projects moving
  • Maintaining accurate project information within company management systems
  • Ensuring quality standards and client expectations are met throughout each project


What We're Looking For

  • Previous construction project management or coordination experience
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and job costing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, field teams, trade partners, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Ability to clearly communicate scopes, schedules, expectations, changes, and project needs
  • Comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and making confident decisions
  • Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Positive attitude, accountability, attention to detail, and team-first mentality


Employment Requirements

As part of the Alyeska Builders team, employees are expected to:

  • Maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Complete OSHA-10 certification before employment when applicable (company-provided if needed).
  • Complete one company-approved continuing education course every six months (provided by the company and completed on your own time).
  • Report any driving violations that may affect employment responsibilities.

No Earning Ceiling

Alyeska Builders uses one Journeyman wage scale across all positions, creating a consistent approach to compensation and career growth throughout the company.

Once an employee reaches Journeyman-level status within their position, they become eligible for annual 1–3% performance-based wage increases, allowing earning potential to continue growing with performance, responsibility, and leadership.
