Full Time Medical Receptionist position

Privately owned boutique practice is growing fast! We are seeking an experienced medical receptionist to work in our Pediatric and Adult Dermatology practice.

Required Experience and Skill set

· Patient check in , check out and registration into our EMR

· Verify insurance benefits through EMR or Navinet

· Be able to explain insurance benefits to patients including co-payments, co-insurances and deductibles

· Provide patients with registration forms, scan into the charts

· Be able to multitask between data entry, heavy phones and live interaction with patients

The right candidate will have:

· 2+ years working as a receptionist in a Physicians office

· Must be organized, efficient and professional

· Strong knowledge of EMR

· Proficient in understanding insurance cards, referrals, co payments, co insurance, deductibles

· Experience handling multiple phone lines

· Strong background in verifying insurance plans

· Able to remain calm and focused during busy times

This is a full-time position. Our schedule varies, but all candidates must be able to start as early as 830 AM on some days and start later but work until 7-7:30 PM at least 1 evening per week.
