Job description

Objective

Responsible for payroll and general Human Resource functions in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws.

Principal Responsibilities

· Recruits staff members from potential sources and assists in administrating job posting program.

· Screens, interviews, and recommends for hire qualified applicants as directed.

· Conducts reference checks on candidates and maintains applicant log.

· Consistently reviews and verifies employee licenses, certifications, Hepatitis B and TB records to ensure they are current; maintains appropriate records.

· Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or assigned at any time with or without notice.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.

· 2 years’ Skilled Nursing Facility experience

· 2 years' proven experience and demonstrated capability as a payroll specialist

· Strong personal organization and time management ability with attention to detail.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and payroll application systems.

· Strong understanding of payroll accounting and payroll best practices.

· Strong work ethic and team player with excellent communication skills.

· Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.

· Ability to understand and follow applicable regulations, policies and procedures fully and consistently.

· Must have strong detail orientation and high accuracy level.
