Job description

The Organization

North Los Angeles County Regional Center “NLACRC” is a private, non-profit agency that is contracted with the State of California, Department of Developmental Services, to provide services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. NLACRC is one of the largest regional centers in California and has proudly served the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and Antelope Valley since 1974. We serve individuals across the lifespan from infants and toddlers, school age children, transition-age youth, to adults and aging adults.

SUPERVISION: Receives general supervision from the Community Services Director and/or Consumer Services Supervisor.

The Position and Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining Agency vendor and contract records.

  1. Receives and screens vendorization inquires, provides information in accordance with law and Agency policy. Receives and reviews completed applications, checks and routes.
  2. Verifies vendor licenses and credentials, maintains tickler systems for periodic review, as appropriate. Notifies vendors, concerned staff and DDS of approved vendorizations, rate actions and other changes. Assigns vendor numbers, establishes and maintains paper files and computer databases on all vendors.
  3. Provides analysis of vendor applications to ensure compliance with applicable statute, regulations, and Agency policy.
  4. Receives, tracks and monitors for completion, vendor contracts.
  5. Prepares memos, reports and correspondence as related to the contract and vendorization functions. Performs general clerical work, as assigned.
  6. Maintains and updates SANDIS, UFS, contract database and the rate table as needed.
  7. Creates, maintains and updates a report of all contracts and vendorization requests and projects.

Employment Standards

Any combination equivalent to or likely to provide the required knowledge and skills is qualifying. A high school education and three years of related experience.

Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of general office practices and procedures. Organization, detail-oriented, documentation/tracking, follow-through, computer database management, general computer skills, communication of complex information, accurate and rapid typing, ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. Basic skills and experience in Accounting, Computer software MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.

This position is non-exempt. Regular Salary: $21.27 - $30.06 per hour.

Starting salary is typically between the $21.27 and $23.48 of the range, depending on internal equity and experience.

Base Pay Rate / Salary Range Information

The actual amount offered within the posted salary/pay rate range will depend on a variety of factors, including degree obtained/education, experience, skills and abilities, and other relevant job-related factors. The lower end of salary range applies to candidates who meet minimum qualifications or have limited years of relevant experience; the higher end of range will apply to seasoned candidates with considerable years of direct relevant experience.
