Trophy Nissan is seeking a driven Automotive Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our high-volume dealership in Mesquite, Texas, serving the Dallas-Fort Worth market. This role is focused on sourcing, acquiring, and purchasing vehicles to support our used-car inventory needs.

Role Summary
As an Automotive Vehicle Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing vehicles through customer buy-ins, online leads, market platforms, and other acquisition channels. You will evaluate vehicles, negotiate purchases, and work closely with management to build profitable inventory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Source and acquire vehicles through customer buy-ins, phone leads, and digital channels
  • Appraise vehicles accurately using market data and valuation tools
  • Negotiate vehicle purchases directly with customers
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with acquisition leads
  • Monitor market trends, auction pricing, and retail demand
  • Work closely with management to align acquisitions with inventory needs
  • Ensure all purchase documentation is accurate and complete
  • Maintain a professional, transparent customer experience
Qualifications & Experience
  • Automotive sales, buying, or acquisition experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of vehicle values, market pricing, and reconditioning impact
  • Confident negotiation and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
  • Comfortable working phones, digital leads, and in-person appointments
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
  • Valid driver's license
