What is a NIL director?

NIL Directors, or Name, Image, and Likeness Directors, are professionals typically employed by colleges or universities to oversee and manage student-athletes' opportunities to profit from their personal brands. They help navigate compliance with NCAA regulations, educate athletes on NIL policies, and connect them with potential endorsement deals, sponsorships, or marketing opportunities.
