Position Title: Detox and Residential Shift RN
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

The Detox and Residential Shift Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in providing high-quality medical care and support to clients undergoing detoxification and residential treatment for substance use and co-occurring disorders. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the RN ensures client safety, monitors medical conditions, administers medications, and offers compassionate care in alignment with treatment plans and facility protocols.

Key Responsibilities:Client Care:
  • Provide direct nursing care to clients in detox and residential settings during overnight hours.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments, including vitals, withdrawal symptom monitoring, and risk evaluations.
  • Administer medications per physician orders, including MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) as applicable.
  • Monitor clients for adverse reactions to medications or changes in condition, taking appropriate action as needed.
  • Document all care provided in compliance with medical and legal standards.
Facility Support:
  • Ensure the safety and security of clients by conducting regular room checks and responding promptly to emergencies.
  • Collaborate with the on-call medical team for urgent issues or changes in care plans.
