Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Acute Inpatient Rehab unit requiring 1.5 years of rehab experience and prior travel experience.

Details
  • Acute inpatient rehab hospital setting, single unit with all acute inpatient rehab patients
  • Night shift, 3x12 hours (18:45-07:15)
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call responsibilities required
  • Charting completed in Cerner
  • Average patient length of stay is about 14 days
Requirements
  • Active WI or compact RN license required, must be in hand at time of consideration
  • Current BLS certification required, ACLS preferred (required if functioning in charge nurse role)
  • Minimum 1.5 years of inpatient rehab hospital experience required, within the last 2 years
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Must be able to fill in for charge nurse role as needed
  • Cerner charting experience required
Additional Information
  • Care provided to acute inpatient rehab patients within a hospital-based rehab facility (not a nursing home or LTAC)
  • Navy blue or black scrubs with closed-toe shoes required
  • Free parking available on site
  • RTO must be approved and submitted at time of consideration, no additional RTO approved after offer, and full holiday time off not permitted
  • Call-outs require more than 24 hours advance notice
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Local candidates are accepted
