Its close proximity to major cultural and business centers in Niagara Falls, Buffalo, and Toronto as well as the award-winning Niagara Wine Trail and several nearby cultural destinations make Niagara University an ideal place to work and live. If you'd like to know more, check out all of the NU Facts.We are seeking adjunct faculty to teach one or more laboratory sections of Organic Chemistry for Biochemistry and Chemistry majors. Students enrolled in this lab course are also enrolled in a lecture course in organic chemistry. The laboratory component is designed to reinforce and support lecture material through hands-on experiments. All lab experiments are pre-designed and fully developed. Instructors are responsible for facilitating the labs, guiding student learning, and ensuring safe laboratory practices.Qualifications:A completed Master's degree in chemistry or a closely related field is required; a Ph.D. is preferred.College-level teaching preferred; strong content knowledge and interest in teaching also considered.Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate laboratory instruction and adhere to all applicable federal, state, and institutional safety and waste disposal protocols.
