Job description

SUMMARY:

The Broadcast and Media Operations Specialist manages all video and music assets for Kraft Sports & Entertainment (KS&E) and affiliated companies. This role oversees the ingestion, organization, preservation, and accessibility of digital and physical media, supports video production needs, and ensures compliance with music licensing across all content platforms.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ingest, label, and archive all video for KS&E and The Kraft Group, maintain both digital and physical media collections. 
  2. Develop and implement meta schemas, naming conventions and organizational data storage structures to ensure efficient access and long-term preservation of media assets.
  3. Support the ongoing maintenance and optimization of the organization’s digital asset management systems and workflows, including developing expertise in Scoreplay and related media platforms.
  4. Log all Patriots game footage, features, and other video gathered by KS&E, NFL Films, and other Kraft Group businesses.
  5. Support live and recorded productions by engineering and routing audio/video signals, operating equipment, and collaborating with engineering, A/V, and stadium operations teams during live events and daily operations.
  6. Coordinate and support the recording and live-streaming of press conferences, games, events, and related programming for internal and external established distribution channels. 
  7. Support radio, broadcast, and live-event programming through graphics integration, playback support, and related production functions as needed.
  8. Edit and distribute video content for internal and external use, including press conferences, highlights, feature pieces, and special projects.
  9. Assist producers, editors, and content creators by locating, researching, retrieving, and distributing footage and media assets, including coordination with external partners such as NFL Network.
  10. Track and document music usage updates, licensing restrictions, and related policy information to all internal stakeholders as needed. 
  11. Operate the on-site NFL Network Team Cam during games, events, and over live productions as assigned.
  12. Special projects and assignments as business dictates
  13. Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in media asset management, video production, broadcasting, content operations, music licensing, or related fields.
  • Experience supporting broadcast, live-production, or audio/video production environmnents preferred
  • Fluent in industry-standard media management software and hardware.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard media management systems, editing software, and production equipment.
  • Working knowledge of metadata management and media organization best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and variable schedules based on business needs.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
