Job description

Capitol Chevrolet is hiring a high-performance New Car Manager who knows how to drive volume, hold gross, and lead from the front. This is not a sit-in-the-office role—we’re looking for someone who is on the floor, in the deals, on the phones, and in front of customers every single day.


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Chevrolet experience is REQUIRED
  • Strong background in desking deals and maximizing front-end gross
  • Finance experience required – must understand full deal structure and backend opportunities
  • Comfortable TO’ing customers, working the desk, and closing deals
  • Not afraid to pick up the phone, call customers, and drive appointments
  • Track record of hitting objectives and pushing volume
  • High energy, competitive, and accountability-driven

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the new car sales floor with urgency and structure
  • Desk deals to maximize gross while maintaining strong volume
  • Work directly with customers to close deals and overcome objections
  • Partner with BDC and sales team to drive appointments and showroom traffic
  • Make outbound calls to unsold traffic, internet leads, and sold follow-ups
  • Ensure execution of Chevrolet programs, incentives, and objectives
  • Train and develop a younger sales team on process, product, and closing
  • Collaborate with Finance to maximize total deal profitability
