Job description

Description
The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and the Center for Neuromodulation in Depression and Stress (CNDS) seeks candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Expertise is required in the specific area of limited assessment of patients, TMS, and analysis of MRI results with a focus on advanced multimodal MRI data. Applicants must have an M.D. and/or Ph.D degree.
Responsibilities may include participating in research group efforts to obtain and analyze clinical MRI and MRI data. Following analysis, the candidate will participate in the preparation of presentations and articles for publication.
The successful applicant will have an opportunity to help supervise laboratory technicians, clinical coordinators, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students in an academic setting.
