Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing

Experience: 18 months ICU experience required; 2 years preferred.
License: Active nursing license required.
Certifications: AHA BLS & ACLS required at the time of submission. NIHSS must be obtained prior to start.
Must-Have: Epic experience at a level 3 or 4. Must be nicotine-free.
Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit.
The healthcare environment is a mixed ICU that involves both cardiac and neuro patients.
Experience with both types of patients is necessary.
Orientation hours are included for training purposes.
Travelers will float to meet facility needs and may be required to float to multiple facilities within a certain radius.
Travelers must include all requests for time off upfront in submission; late requests may not be approved.
All travelers must be nicotine-free, with no exceptions.
A negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, will be required.
The facility is a smoke-free environment with a strict policy in place.
Clinical skills required include the ability to manage dysrhythmias, care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction, and operate specific cardiac equipment.
Candidates must interpret arterial blood gases and care for ventilated patients.
References from two direct supervisors or managers will be required.
