Job description

Job Summary:
Nisga'a Tek, LLC is committed to high-quality service to those who defend us, providing various services including IT and cyber security. The Network Engineer V will serve as the Technical Lead on Extreme Networks products and manage network projects, ensuring effective solutions and upgrades are implemented.
Responsibilities:
• Serves as the Technical Lead on Extreme Networks products, such as switches, routers, access points, & network management tools.
• Holding relevant industry certifications & adept at troubleshooting complex network issues, identifying root causes, & implementing effective solutions.
• Has EXP in managing network projects, including planning, implementation, & documentation, including network upgrades, migrations, & infrastructure expansions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• BA/BS or AA/AS from an accredited college or university w/ a minimum of 10+ Yrs w/ a current/recent focus on Extreme Networks products and solutions.
• IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) Certification & applicable CE/OS Certification.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification or equivalent
• EXP & skills w/ the following manufacturers & applications: Extreme Networks Layer 2/3, MLXE Switches /Extreme IQ / OSPF, BGP, & MPLS, VMware NSX: Install, Configure, Manage (V6.2), Ruckus Layer 2 Switches/Wireless Controller/Wireless Access Points, Palo Alto Firewall knowledge of PA-7050/PA-3060/PA-3260/PA-5450/Wildfire/URL Filtering, Brocade MPLS implementation Layer 2 & Layer 3 switches, Cisco switches & routers, Aruba Networks Excellent knowledge of Wireless Controllers/Access, Points/Airwave/ClearPass, Ciena 100G OME 6500 DWDM System, & SolarWinds, InMon Sentinel, Uptrends
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
