Job description

WelbeHealth is a value-based healthcare organization that's transforming the future of senior care by providing an all-inclusive care option to our most vulnerable senior population.

The Provider Network Management Associate is a critical field-based role accountable for the end-to-end lifecycle of the provider relationship. This includes building a strategic pipeline, advocating for the PACE model to secure new contracts, and managing the ongoing operational performance of the network. The Provider Network Management Associate ensures that our high-caliber provider partners are seamlessly integrated into WelbeHealth's objective to serve vulnerable seniors.

This role is different because Provider Network Management Associates at WelbeHealth:

  • Have an opportunity to build and shape a highly integrated provider network strategy within a mission-driven PACE model, where clinical outcomes, member experience, and community-based care are deeply interconnected
  • Work in a role that offers direct influence on holistic care delivery for a vulnerable senior population through cross-functional partnership and innovative care models, unlike traditional network strategy roles focused primarily on contracting and cost management

We care about our team members. That's why we offer:

  • Medical insurance coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision)
  • Work/life balance - We mean it! 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually, and 6 sick days
  • 401K savings + match
  • Comprehensive compensation package including base pay and bonus
  • And additional benefits!

On the day-to-day, you will:

Strategic Growth & Network Contracting

  • Pipeline Development: Identify, research, and build a robust pipeline of potential provider partners within assigned geographies to meet expansion goals, as well as execute outreach strategies to prospective providers, serving as a primary advocate for the PACE model and its benefits to participants
  • Contract Execution: Lead the process of prospective providers signing contracts, partnering closely with the Network Strategy team to ensure alignment with organizational needs
  • Market Strategy: Facilitate the execution of market-specific network strategic plans that deliver a highly aligned and performing provider network

Operational Excellence & Relationship Management

  • Onboarding & Training: Guide partners from initial training on plan policies and technology (e.g., Provider Portal) through ongoing engagement
  • Performance Optimization: Establish strong, trusted relationships with contracted partners, leading Joint Operating Committee (JOC) meetings when appropriate to ensure optimal performance and satisfaction

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Performance

  • Internal Partnerships: Build collaborative relationships with Clinical Operations, Utilization Management, Claims, and PACE Center Leadership teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow integration
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the assigned provider network

Job requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field required; professional experience may be substituted
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in provider relations field work; experience in a managed care organization preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to go above and beyond in providing service to providers and partners
  • Proven experience building trust-based relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders and delivering a service-centric experience
  • Ability to travel to WelbeHealth markets as needed

We are seeking a Provider Network Management Associate that ideally has experience working in a managed care organization. If you're ready to join a team that values both its participants and team members, we'd love to hear from you!

Compensation consists of base salary plus bonus. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package that includes a 401(k) match, comprehensive healthcare coverage, and a broad range of additional benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications.
