Summary:
The Network Engineer V possesses a combination of EXP/skills/qualifications w/ a strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, & technologies including LAN, WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, & network security.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
  • Serves as the Technical Lead on Extreme Networks products, such as switches, routers, access points, & network management tools.
  • Holding relevant industry certifications & adept at troubleshooting complex network issues, identifying root causes, & implementing effective solutions.
  • Has EXP in managing network projects, including planning, implementation, & documentation, including network upgrades, migrations, & infrastructure expansions.

Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS or AA/AS from an accredited college or university w/ a minimum of 10+ Yrs w/ a current/recent focus on Extreme Networks products and solutions.
  • Training, Certifications, EXP, & Clearance Requirements:
    • IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) Certification & applicable CE/OS Certification.
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification or equivalent
  • Possess EXP & skills w/ the following manufacturers & applications:

The salary range for this position is $160,00.00 to $180,000.00 annually.
