Due to continued growth, we are seeking a hardworking and motivated Sprinkler Apprentice to join our team in Auburn, ME.ย  This is an entry-level role designed to provide hands-on experience, training, and valuable skill development in the fire suppression systems industry. As a Sprinkler Apprentice, you will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of sprinkler systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in fire safety and system installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation, testing, and maintenance of sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
  • Work closely with senior technicians to ensure compliance with local and national fire codes and safety standards.
  • Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings related to fire suppression systems.
  • Perform basic tasks such as measuring, cutting, and threading pipes using hand and power tools.
  • Carry out general site cleanup, preparation, and organization of tools and materials.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Support troubleshooting activities and report any issues to senior staff.
  • Participate in training sessions to learn about equipment, standards, and evolving industry practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Willingness to participate in technical training or apprenticeship programs.
  • Ability to work in various conditions, including at heights or in confined spaces.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
