Job Description

Currently, we are seeking Systems Engineers & Network Support Specialists to support our expanding SMB customer base. This individual will support, maintain, and upgrade our clients' network infrastructure. Key Solutions believes that our technical solutions and staff are essential to our ongoing success, and we are pursuing an individual who is passionate about his/her work and a determined team player. Our workforce is energetic, talented, and poised for growth in this exciting market.

Qualifications

Desired Experience / Technical Knowledge include:

  • A solid foundation of knowledge and experience in the IT industry, typically an AS/BS degree in information technology with 3+ years of relevant experience, or the equivalent
  • 3+ years of systems/network experience in supporting SMB network environments
  • 3+ years of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory experience
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with the Windows operating system and PC hardware
  • Experience with networking hardware, such as wireless controllers, access points, routers, firewalls and switches
  • Solid knowledge of TCP/IP network functionality including DNS and DHCP
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and other hosted email solutions
  • Experience with troubleshooting and managing peripheral devices, including printers/scanners, monitors, and UPS devices
  • Working knowledge of common phones, tablets, and mobile devices
  • The ability to track work performed via our ConnectWise ticketing system along with the ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Experience with Windows server hardware technology and basic business applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email and in-person with both employees and clients
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
