Job Title: Network Project Manager
Location: Ashburn, VA or Irving, TX (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Network Project Manager to lead and coordinate network build and deployment activities for critical infrastructure programs. This role focuses on install coordination for Intelligent Edge Network (iEN), PIP, and Public IP deployments, working closely with engineering, operations, and installation vendors. This position supports 100% capital projects and plays a key role in ensuring timely, high-quality network deployments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop detailed project plans, schedules, and deployment timelines.
  • Order network equipment and materials; coordinate logistics and on-time delivery.
  • Schedule and drive PEC, site surveys, and physical installation activities with Field Engineering, Operations, and third-party vendors.
  • Manage outsourced vendors and construction partners to ensure adherence to scope, quality, and timelines.
  • Proactively identify risks, remove bottlenecks, and resolve issues to meet internal and external commitments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Communicate clearly with technical teams, vendors, and leadership on project status and risks.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional projects, vendor management, and outsourced teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and deliver on schedule.
  • Strong project planning, execution, and time-management skills.
  • Working knowledge of telecommunications technologies, networks, and related business processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and Google productivity tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills with a self-driven mindset.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Engineering background or technical project experience (strongly preferred).
  • Experience with SRM/SAP, expense management, or capital budgeting.
  • PMP certification.
  • Military experience is a plus.

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required. Technical degree preferred.
