MUST HAVE SKILLS:
  • Must have demonstrated ability to take initiative and manage multiple competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and solve problems.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, oral/written communications skills, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using computers, including experience with Google Suite, specifically Google Sheets, as well as experience with relational and web based database applications
  • Ability to lead a call with internal and external stakeholders about projects
  • Ability to update a database real time with updates as they are available
  • Ability to create reports and trackers to be able to track down updates on projects
  • Understanding of project costs and how it relates to the projects this individual works on

DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Ability to use and create Google Sheets reports with formulas to analyze data in an offline way
  • Ability to use and create Lookr reports and dashboards
  • Ability to use AI such as Gemini or Claude to assist with work and task management

JOB DUTIES:
  • This is a project manager position that will track and drive network site development and construction activities needed to build out the Verizon Wireless 4G and 5G networks.
  • This individual will work closely with the RE Specialist, Project Management, Regulatory, Construction Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Transport Engineering, and RF Engineering teams and will setup projects, create trackers and reports, regularly update the internal database, and work with financial information. This individual may also be asked to help track environmental due diligence, regulatory requirements, regulatory completions, leasing, zoning and permitting activities, construction forecasts, equipment reporting, along with database updates and reporting for these activities.
  • Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, manages project meetings, manages budget for projects, and identifies and resolves technical problems. Expected to work largely unsupervised to effectively prioritize multiple competing activities.
  • Demonstrate professionalism by promptly responding to email and phone calls, actively participating in meetings, clearly explaining issues, providing updates, maintaining records, and working with other departments.
  • Populate and maintain project tracking databases; develop reports, review, analyze, and distribute project data.
  • Strong computer skills including Google Suite and understanding how a database works generically for tracking project updates.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 3-5 years work experience in project management with a telecom emphasis.
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent work experience desired.
