- PMP (Project Management Professional) – PMI
- ITIL Foundation (Preferred)
- PMI-ACP (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple large-scale IT projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reports.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and executive leadership.
- Manage project scope, timelines, resources, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and change requests.
- Facilitate project meetings, steering committee presentations, and executive status updates.
- Ensure compliance with State PMO standards, governance, and documentation requirements.
- Track project performance using KPIs and project management tools.
- Support procurement activities, contract management, and vendor coordination.
- Mentor junior project managers and promote project management best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of IT Project Management experience.

Managing large enterprise or government projects.
- Strong experience with SDLC, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
- Experience managing budgets, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, or Smartsheet.
- Experience preparing executive presentations and project status reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with State Government or other public-sector agencies.
- Experience managing cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, ERP, or digital transformation projects.
- Knowledge of procurement, vendor management, and government compliance processes.
