Job description

Dynamic Solutions Technology, LLC (DST), a premier strategic services firm that meets IT and Service needs for commercial and government clients, is seeking a full-time Network Administrator to provide support to a Federal Government customer in the Butner, NC, location. This is an exempt remote role.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Diagnosed and resolved network connectivity issues, system failures, and performance bottlenecks to minimize operational downtime.
  • Configured and maintained routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and other network hardware.
  • Monitored network performance, availability, and utilization using enterprise monitoring tools and implemented improvements to optimize efficiency.
  • Assembled, deployed, and integrated new computer systems, network equipment, and peripheral devices into existing environments.
  • Maintained and upgraded network hardware, operating systems, and software applications to ensure compatibility and operational readiness.
  • Performed routine system maintenance, patch management, firmware updates, and lifecycle replacement of obsolete equipment.
  • Managed user accounts, permissions, and network access controls in accordance with cybersecurity and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborated with IT support teams, system administrators, and technical personnel to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and support mission requirements.
  • Documented network configurations, procedures, system changes, and troubleshooting activities to maintain accurate technical records.
  • Provided Tier II/III network administration and technical support, ensuring the availability, security, and performance of enterprise network services.

Required Experience:
  • 7 years minimum Netwrok Administrator experience.
  • Be able to exercise a high degree of discretion when evaluating client's operating systems, hardware configuration, firewalls, security, and network infrastructure.
  • Demonstrate a wide degree of creativity and latitude as expected.

Required Education/Training:
  • Bachelors of Science degree in Information Technology or related field; relevant and equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
  • Certifications: CompTIA Network+ certification can be used to substitute for 2 years of network experience. Cisco CCNA Certification can be used to substitute for 3 years of experiance
