York is seeking a skilled and experienced Infrastructure Team Lead to oversee the planning and maintenance of the organization's core IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for leading a team of Infrastructure Administrators and a Network Principal ensuring high availability, security, and performance across all systems including servers, networks, and storage. The Infrastructure Team Lead collaborates with cross-functional teams to support business objectives while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of infrastructure professionals, fostering high-performance, collaborative culture.
  • Prioritize and assign daily tasks, projects, and operational objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and serve as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.
  • Lead infrastructure projects from design through implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to plan infrastructure roadmaps and capacity forecasting.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies that improve efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Partner with cybersecurity team to support vulnerability management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
  • Maintain documentation, runbooks, and architectural diagrams.
  • Participate in budgeting and vendor management activities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, systems administration, or network management.
  • 2+ years of leadership or team-lead experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), Windows/Linux servers, networking fundamentals, and cloud services (Azure/AWS).
  • Experience with monitoring tools, backup/restore systems, patch management, and automation scripts.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work full-time in office at our Greenwood Village, CO location.
