Job Summary:
LanceSoft, Inc. is a company providing IT support services, and they are seeking a Field Engineer 3 to deliver desktop and field support for hardware, software, and network systems. The role involves installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT equipment while ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with service level agreements.
Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals
• Perform hardware setup, imaging, reloading, and troubleshooting
• Provide support for software, networking, and legacy systems
• Perform disk replacements and basic repairs on enterprise systems
• Handle installs, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC activities)
• Test and certify systems and applications
• Manage and update tickets in the system and ensure SLA compliance
• Escalate issues and provide follow-up support
• Maintain professionalism and ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum 1–3 years of desktop/IT support experience
• Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting
• Basic networking knowledge
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to follow processes and work independently
Preferred:
• Certifications such as A+, Security+, Dell, Apple
• Experience with ticketing systems
• Experience with mobile device setup (iOS/Android)
