We are looking for a highly motivated Regional Director with a strong Security and Cloud background, based in Rome, Italy.

Obtains profit contribution by managing staff; establishing and accomplishing business objectives.

What you will do:

         Manages the day-to-day sales activities as well as develop strategies and tactics to meet and exceed the corporate goals.

         Increases management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing educational opportunities.

         Develops strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending objectives.

         Accomplishes regional objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.

         Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new business.

         Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field, and technical services policies and practices; coordinating actions with corporate staff.

         Builds company image by collaborating with customers, channel partners, industry experts, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.

         Partners with marketing to define channel activities, implement marketing plans, merchandising plans and promotional activities.

         Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

         Responsible for Italy, Greece & Malta operating expenses: monitoring and approving T&E expenses, commissions, ongoing expenses and control over them along with Corp HQ.

         Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Qualifications - External

Qualifications

         Vast experience with a proven track record of selling in the computer networking Security solutions in Italy, Greece and Malta to C-Level and Technical Buyers with demonstrated success in exceeding quarterly and yearly revenue goals.

         Vast experience in management and mentoring of a sales team with a regional responsibility, including a track record of training and managing sales professionals who succeeded under your leadership.

         Attains assigned sales goals by identifying, qualifying and generating business with new and existing accounts to expand company's presence.

         Understands customers' business, technology and product requirements and appropriately matches company's "solutions" - products and services - to meet customer needs.

         Identifies new sales opportunities directly and through channel partners' presence at executive levels.

         Performs sales forecasting, account planning and other related sales administrative tasks to grow assigned business profitably.

         Possess both strategic and tactical capabilities, able to analyze the market, competitors and company strengths and weaknesses while devising winning sales strategies.

         Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build a cohesive world-class team that is highly competent, customer focused and growth-oriented.

         Effective and influential verbal, written, electronic communication and presentation skills.

         Ability to travel within Italy, Greece & Malta and globally.

         Highly adaptive nature and ability to adjust the business/sales model as necessary to accelerate growth
