Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Program Director to lead its Business Technology Renewal (BTR) Program. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and governance for a portfolio of transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with the university’s institutional priorities and strategic objectives. As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, the Program Director will advance project management maturity by establishing and promoting best practices, while partnering with IT leadership, project teams, and stakeholders to define priorities, guide execution, and achieve measurable business outcomes.

What you must have

Formal Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • PMP certification required.
  • PgMP certification strongly preferred.

Knowledge & Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT program and project management.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
  • Proven record of establishing PMO/program governance in complex organizations.
  • Experience in higher education or public-sector environments is an asset.
