The Network Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and repairing of network infrastructure and application components. The Network Analyst performs a wide variety of evaluation, maintenance, installation and training tasks to ensure the computer network performance meets company and user satisfaction. The Network Analyst may also provide direction, information, and recommendations regarding network configurations and installations.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

A combination of related education, training, and/or experience totaling 5 years or more in the following:
TCP/IP
Layer 2 and layer 3 switching
Networking features and protocols such as Spanning Tree, ARP, CDP, EIGRP, RIP, OSPF, BGP, VTP, EtherChannel, 802.1Q Trunking, MLS, HSRP, QoS, Multicast, 802.11, IPsec, RADIUS/TACACS+, SNMP, and MPLS
Ethernet, Metro-Ethernet and the OSI Model
VPN, SSL technology, and Firewall security
Network management and troubleshooting
Engineering and design experience in networking industry
Transport protocols, routing protocols, and security/authentication protocols at all layers of the OSI model with emphasis on TCP/IP are essential
Design, install and troubleshoot local-area and wide-area enterprise networks
Ability to setup, configure, upgrade, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches enterprise VPN solutions, and Juniper SRX Firewalls
Network cabling
Cisco CCNA Certification

Highly Desirable Qualifications:
Ability to provides direction, information, and recommendations regarding network configurations and installations
Support project teams, with the ability to lead efforts
Cisco ASA configuration and management
Cisco Routers configuration and management
Cisco Firewall Switch Module configuration and management
Cisco Switch, Layer 3 and Layer 2 configuration and management Disaster Recovery - Networking
Bandwidth monitoring and capacity planning
Extensive knowledge of Internet Protocols, communication protocols, data and network security
