Role Description

NetPlanner Systems is seeking an intermediate-level Safety Specialist to support and strengthen safety performance across our field operations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Norcross, GA, ideal for a safety professional with practical field experience who is ready to take the next step in their career.

The Safety Specialist will actively support day-to-day safety activities, conduct field inspections, review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), assist with incident investigations, and help ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. This role works closely with field crews, supervisors, and safety leadership to identify hazards, reinforce safe work practices, and continuously improve safety awareness and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits across field operations
  • Review and support the development of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
  • Assist with accident, incident, and near-miss investigations and follow-up actions
  • Support implementation of safety policies, programs, and procedures
  • Provide safety guidance and coaching to field employees and supervisors
  • Help deliver safety training and safety briefings as needed
  • Track safety observations, corrective actions, and compliance activities


Qualifications

Required:

  • 2–5 years of experience in Health & Safety, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), or Occupational Safety
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and other applicable workplace safety regulations
  • Experience performing field inspections, hazard identification, and basic incident investigations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with field teams

Preferred:

  • OSHA 30 certification or similar safety credential
  • Experience in construction, telecommunications, technology, or utility-related environments
  • Familiarity with JHA development and site-specific safety plans
