RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a ScienceLogic SME - Observability Program in Juno Beach, FL.
Responsibilities:
* Configure and optimize ScienceLogic monitoring for VMware, VCF, vCenter, wireless controllers, and access points
* Implement client-defined monitoring policies, thresholds, and alerting standards
* Develop and maintain Dynamic Applications, event policies, and monitoring templates
* Configure performance, availability, capacity, and health monitoring for supported infrastructure platforms
* Tune alerts and thresholds to reduce false positives and improve operational effectiveness
* Implement event enrichment and monitoring metadata required for downstream integrations
* Support integration with ServiceNow and Splunk for event forwarding and operational workflows
* Execute monitoring validation, testing, and remediation activities during deployment
* Create operational runbooks, support documentation, and knowledge transfer materials
* Provide ongoing monitoring optimization and platform support during rollout and stabilization
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of hands-on experience with ScienceLogic SL1
* Experience implementing enterprise monitoring and observability solutions
* Strong understanding of: Event Management; Infrastructure Monitoring; Service Monitoring; AIOps concepts; Monitoring Automation
* Experience monitoring VMware environments including vCenter, ESXi, clusters, and virtual infrastructure
* Experience configuring: Dynamic Applications; Run Book Automations; Dashboards; Collections; Event Policies; Business Services
* Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
* Experience working in large enterprise production environments
* Ability to work cross-functionally with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams
Preferred Qualifications:
* ScienceLogic SL1 certifications
* Experience integrating ScienceLogic with ServiceNow ITOM/Event Management
* Experience supporting AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform environments
* Experience building operational scorecards and executive reporting dashboards
* Experience within highly regulated industries such as Energy, Utilities, Financial Services, or Healthcare
* Knowledge of Splunk, ServiceNow, and enterprise observability architectures
* Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident management frameworks
Preferred Background:
* Candidates who have participated in enterprise observability transformations, monitoring modernization initiatives, or AIOps programs will be highly preferred
* Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments spanning VMware, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications is strongly desired

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
