About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Tableau Developer to design, develop, and optimize sales focused Tableau dashboards and analytical solutions. This role involves translating business requirements into highly scalable Tableau visualizations and supporting end users in a dynamic, data-focused environment. Work involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, hands-on SQL skills and dashboard development using the Tableau Product suite.

This hybrid role blends data engineering, development and Tableau platform responsibilities including data sourcing/ETL, administration, dashboard development, optimization, and user support. You'll partner with CRM Operations and Analytics teams to keep our environment running smoothly while enabling scalable, dashboards and insights across the organization. You will also play a key role in advancing our analytics roadmap; supporting the adoption of Tableau Cloud, Pulse and Tableau NEXT enabled insights, using BI best practices.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, and enhance Tableau dashboards and visualizations that translate business needs into intuitive, high-performing analytics products.

  • Data preparation and automation: Integrate data from multiple data sources, including cloud platforms, build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.

  • Platform administration includes user management, site content, permissions, extract scheduling, and workbook performance tuning.

  • Proactive troubleshooting with a strong focus on root-cause analysis and resolution.

  • Optimize workbooks, underlying data, queries, dashboards and reports for performance, scalability and user experience.

  • Gather and document business requirements, translating into technical solutions.

  • Conduct data analysis to draw meaningful business insights.

  • Work with teams to define trusted, reusable datasets and consistent definitions that enable scalable dashboards and metrics.

  • Participate in stakeholder meetings and present visualization solutions clearly and effectively.

  • Conduct QA and UAT reviews for new content (accuracy, performance, governance alignment).

  • Create and maintain documentation for dashboards, data flows, and development processes.

  • Establish best practices, data governance, security and compliance across the platform.

  • Design roadmap initiatives to evolve our analytics ecosystem using Tableau Pulse and NEXT.

  • Create semantic data models and agents for business users.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field.

  • 3 - 5+ years of proven experience with the Tableau product suite in a business or consulting environment (Tableau Desktop/Cloud, Pulse, Prep Builder).

  • Solid experience integrating data with tools and languages such as Prep Builder, Python, or R.

  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts (relational, star, fact/dimensional modelling).

  • Experience with LOD expressions and data story telling as a key skill in dashboard development.

  • Understanding of ETL data modelling and design, preferably using Informatica tools.

  • Experience with site administration; user provisioning, site roles, permissions, content governance, and performance tuning.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, troubleshoot and optimize dashboard performance.

  • Ability to take raw, noisy data and transform it into a structured format for analysis.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, macros) for data validation.

Compensation:
