Job Description

Experience Required:
6+ years of IT industry experience
Proven hands-on expertise in .NET development, APIs, and MS SQL

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure enterprise-grade applications using .NET framework and .NET Core/.NET 5+
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Optimize and manage MS SQL Server databases, including query performance tuning and schema design
Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Participate in full software development lifecycle activities within Agile/Scrum environments
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues with minimal downtime
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
Document technical specifications and maintain up-to-date knowledge base

Required Technical Skills:
Languages & Frameworks: ASP.NET, C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET 5+
API Development: RESTful API design, implementation, and integration
Database: MS SQL Server, T-SQL, query optimization, Entity Framework
Architecture: Microservices, system design, legacy modernization
Version Control: Git or equivalent
Development Tools: Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio

Preferred/Added Advantages:
DevOps Experience: CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), orchestration tools
Cloud Platform: OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) or equivalent cloud solutions (Azure, AWS)
Domain Knowledge: Wealth Management, Financial Services, or Banking applications
Additional Skills: WPF/WCF, messaging queues (RabbitMQ, Service Bus), caching strategies

Qualifications:

Portfolio or GitHub profile demonstrating .NET development expertise
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 80,000 - 90,000.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
