Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:0am-4:30pm | 20hrs. per week

Responsibilities
  • Assist as a member of the surgical team who works with the surgeon, registered nurse, and anesthesiologist delivering direct patient care before, during and after surgery.
  • The technologist specialist functions as an instrument assistant and may also function as a circulating assistant under supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Instruct and supervise orientees in sterile technique, procedures, anatomy, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • AST certification required and AST or NCCT certification maintained.
  • Graduate of a recognized surgical technologist program

Licensure/Certification/Registration: AST certification, AST or NCCT recertification.

Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.
