Short Description

Registration

  • Directly responsible for the registration of all new patients for all 3 disciplines
  • Responsible for the pre-registration of all patients when going to be out of the office 
  • Responsible for ensuring that all information obtained is correct through interaction with the prospective patient

Scheduling

  • Coordinating the scheduling of all PT, OT, ST patients with CAST
  • Scheduling all patients who are direct calls, walk-ins, referred from other CRS departments
  • Monitoring the schedule at all times for add-ons and preparing all needs necessary to see the patient immediately

Verifying insurance eligibility

  • Ensuring that each and every patient's eligibility is active at time of registration via Meditech, ECare, Navinet, Next Bar, One Source
  • Once verified, efficiently and accurately entering all insurance eligibility into Meditech
  • Verify all patients in all 3 disciplines eligibility at the beginning of each month to determine if there are any insurance changes
