Job description

Alpinestars is looking for a Visual Merchandising Manager to bring the Alpinestars brand to life in-store. This role is responsible for executing compelling merchandising strategies, designing impactful product displays, and ensuring a consistent brand identity across all retail touchpoints. The ideal candidate will have a passion for motorsports and a deep understanding of how to communicate product features, benefits, and performance through visual storytelling.
 
This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and strong collaboration with sales and communications teams, retail partners, and the creative team to ensure an exceptional customer experience that aligns with the Alpinestars brand.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Brand Presentation & In-Store Experience
  • Develop and execute visual merchandising strategies to showcase Alpinestars products in the most engaging and effective way.
  • Ensure a cohesive brand identity across all retail locations, dealerships, and partner stores.
  • Design and implement store layouts, window displays, and product zones that highlight key product features, technologies, and seasonal collections.
  • Work closely with the sales, communications and creative teams to align in-store visuals with overall brand campaigns and promotions.
  • Product Storytelling & Display Execution
  • Develop merchandising guidelines and tools to help retailers properly display Alpinestars products.
  • Create compelling product displays that emphasize the technology, functionality and innovation behind each item.
  • Utilize signage, mannequins, and props to tell a strong brand story that resonates with motorcycle enthusiasts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitors’ merchandising strategies to ensure Alpinestars remains a leader in the market.
  • Retail Partner & Dealer Support
  • Train and support retail teams and dealerships on best merchandising practices.
  • Conduct store visits to assess compliance with brand guidelines and provide actionable feedback.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and retail partners to develop tailored merchandising plans that meet individual store needs.
  • Visual Merchandising Planning & Execution
  • Plan and execute store re-merchandising based on product launches, seasonal changes, and marketing campaigns.
  • Develop planograms, store layouts, and visual merchandising toolkits for retailers and franchise partners.
  • Work with production teams to design and develop fixtures, signage, and POP (point-of-purchase) materials.
  • Data & Performance Analysis
  • Analyze sales performance and customer behavior to refine merchandising strategies.
  • Collect feedback from retail partners and sales teams to continually optimize visual presentations.
  • Ensure merchandising efforts contribute to increased sell-through rates and brand engagement.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience: 3-5 years in visual merchandising, preferably in the motorcycle, action sports, or outdoor apparel industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Retail Design, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp, or similar design tools.
  • Retail Experience: Understanding of retail store layouts, fixture design, and merchandising principles.
  • Motorcycle & Motorsports Passion: Knowledge of the motorcycle industry, gear, and consumer preferences is a major plus.
  • Project Management: Ability to lead multiple projects, work within budgets, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally with sales teams, marketing, and retail partners.
  • Creativity & Innovation: Ability to create visually compelling displays that enhance customer engagement and sales.
  • Travel: Ability to travel for store visits, trade shows, and retail activations (up to 30%).

Compensation will be dependent on experience.
