Job description

Our Illinois based, National Immigration law firm is seeking a dependable, organized, and professional bilingual Part-Time Law Firm Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and front office support while ensuring excellent client service and efficient day-to-day office operations. Immigration Firm experience not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Manage and respond to email correspondence.
  • Greet clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
  • Maintain an organized reception and office area.
  • Assist attorneys and staff with general administrative tasks.
  • Perform filing, copying, scanning, and document preparation.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • English/Spanish bilingual
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment.
  • Previous office, administrative, Immigration legal experience is preferred but not required.
