Job description

We are seeking motivated, early-mid career professionals to join our sales team as Account Development Managers. This role is designed as a structured development opportunity focused on building foundational sales and account management skills, supporting key distributor relationships, and generating new business opportunities through consistent customer engagement.

Account Development Managers will work closely with Regional Sales Managers, distributor partners, and end users to identify opportunities, coordinate product evaluations, and move qualified opportunities through the sales process.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with assigned distributor accounts, sales representatives, and end users
  • Conduct a high volume of outbound calls, virtual meetings, and follow-up communication
  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities within assigned accounts and territories
  • Coordinate product samples, trials, pricing requests, and customer follow-up
  • Partner with Regional Sales Managers to support customer meetings, distributor events, and field sales activity
  • Maintain ownership of opportunity follow-up and deal progression
  • Build familiarity with assigned accounts, industries, products, and market dynamics
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, customer information, and pipeline tracking
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer needs and support account growth


What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently completing customer and distributor outreach each week
  • Conducting at least 50 distributor touch points per week
  • Building and maintaining a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Following up quickly and consistently on samples, trials, leads, and pricing requests
  • Progressing opportunities through the sales cycle
  • Developing strong working relationships with distributor partners and internal sales teams
  • Demonstrating continued growth in product knowledge, communication, and account management skills


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Recent graduate or 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer success, account management, or business development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of motivation, coachability, organization, and discipline
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, opportunities, and follow-up activities
  • Comfortable communicating by phone, email, video conference, and in person
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office preferred
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, distributor events, and trade shows

Compensation
