Job description

Process Technician
Nammo Defense Systems Inc., a defense contractor, manufactures and supports shoulder-fired systems; energetic material solutions such as aircraft emergency escape systems, actuation devices, rocket motors, warheads, medium & large caliber ammunitions, mortar ammunition; and composite solutions including carbon fiber tubes and composite aero-structures.
How you will be rewarded as a Process Technician

Key Responsibilities:
• Strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
• Safely handle, weigh, transport, and store hazardous and non-hazardous chemical ingredients.
• Perform precision weighing/grinding operations and mixing of chemical ingredients, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks.
• Prepare hazardous chemical materials and perform propellant mixing, casting, and de-tooling/cleaning.
• Work closely with Management, Engineering, Quality, and other teams to identify and solve issues, implement process improvements, and optimize production efficiency.
• Listen to and follow directions, learn new procedures, and operate while maintaining a safe and organized work area in a fluid, multi-tasked team environment.
• Utilize computer systems to access important documents and accurately input data to support production processes.
• Be prepared to work overtime on weekends as required and have the ability to work multiple shifts as needed to meet production demands.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on safety and quality.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as safety guidelines, operating instructions, and SOPs.
• Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders, and operating in various weather conditions around industrial equipment.
• Successful completion of a respirator fit test examination.
• Ability to obtain BATF approval to work with NDS products.
