Job description

Perfection Chain Products has an opportunity available forย Machinist/Tool Maker! This position will start atย $20 an hourย (depending on experience) and is eligible for our fullย benefitsย package. The Workweek for this positionย Full-Time, (40 hours per week)ย Monday โ€“ Fridayย from. This position will work on-site at our facility inย Cullman, Alabama. This position is ideal for a person who is interested in fabricating tooling and parts for older machinery, reverse engineering, and problem solving!

Starting pay:ย $20 per hour (depending on experience)

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, short term, and long-term disability, 401(k), and paid holidays and vacation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

ย This position will assist with developing and creating process improvements for new and existing machinery, ย assist with our tool and die operations, troubleshoot mechanical problems, and sharpen/maintain punch press dies.

This position works in a warehouse environment and will be standing/walking during most shifts. The material handler should expect to be on their feet during most of the shift.

Who we are seeking in an applicant:

ย This position requires a person with excellent mechanical aptitude, we are seeking an individual who is familiar with traditional metal manufacturing concepts. Additional qualifications include:

  • Mechanical process experience including metal stamping.
  • Basic knowledge of chemical and physical properties of metals (steel, brass, aluminum).
  • Basic knowledge of lubricants used in metal forming and punching.
  • Tool and Die experience is a huge plus!
