This opportunity is a part of Blink's Embedded practice, which supports long-term opportunities with some of Blink’s largest client partners.

Location: Onsite - 5 days/week, Berkeley Heights, NJ or Alpharetta, GA

Duration: 1-year contract

 
What you'll be doing:
  • Support strategy for planning, creation, and deployment of content.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with other content creators, SMEs, and stakeholders to ensure a unified tone, style, and voice across all content.
  • Create, revise/maintain eLearning and Microlearning materials.
  • Work with project team to design and develop SCORM compliant eLearning courses.
  • Apply product-specific knowledge, using skills in graphic design, instructional design, writing, and editing.
  • Manage all aspects of the development and project lifecycle.
  • Analyze and translate technical and functional designs into user-friendly client learning material.
  • Master the department selected style guides and department procedures.
  • Identify requirements, scope, and estimation of work.
  • Determine timeline and reporting progress to project sponsor. (Product Manager/Product Owner)
  • Utilize online resources. (e.g., applications, databases, and test environments)
  • Transform complex, unorganized, or unstructured data into usable information.
  • Manage every aspect of the daily work associated with a project.
  • Create final content for client-facing training and documentation.
  • Outline proposed deliverables or indicate where existing deliverables will change.
  • Ability to interact with various levels of an organization.
What we are looking for:
  • Minimum of two-three years of experience with eLearning development tools including Articulate 360 (alternatives include Adobe Captivate, Easygenerator, Elucidat, or DominKnow), Camtasia, and Captivate).
  • Minimum of two-three years of experience using instructional design methodology, such as Successive Approximate Model (SAM) or Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE). 
  • Ability to demonstrate content analysis, modeling, design, and structured writing in eLearnings versus technical documentation, user manuals, or user guides.  
  • Experience with screen capture and screen editing tools for importing into other sources such as Snippet or Snagit.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to participate in Agile meetings and translate initiatives to training impacts and requirements. 

What would be great to have: 

  • Minimum of two-three years of experience with cognitive adult learning theories. 
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems, specifically Cornerstone. 
  • Related banking industry experience in platforms, banking applications, payments, or online financial solutions. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Technical Communications, Professional Writing, English, or Journalism preferred. 
  • Equivalent work experience or instructional design certification may be substituted for degree.
