Menchey Music is the area's largest family-owned music company, and we are looking for bright individuals just like you to join our retail sales team as a full- or part-time employee! At Menchey, we are passionate about music education, enjoyment, and advocacy. We strive for a team of employees that share that commonality with us. If you have a passion for music and helping others on their musical journey, we would love to speak with you today!


In this job, you'll be working directly with customers - in-person, via phone, and through e-mail - to meet their musical needs by:

  • Selling - instruments, accessories, print music, etc.
  • Renting - band, orchestra & other instruments, accessible to everyone!
  • Enrolling - sign up new students for lessons at the Menchey School of Music!

Other duties include:

  • Troubleshooting customer issues and finding solutions
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store
  • Opening and closing the store according to policies
  • Cash handling - daily balancing of cash drawer
  • Training on instruments, new products, and sales techniques
Requirements:

Required Experience:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Ability to play a musical instrument
  • General knowledge of musical instruments and written music

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous retail or sales experience

These positions are year-round positions. They are not seasonal or summer-only positions.
